Dear Friends,

I'd like to take a moment to update you on a few things going on both in Wisconsin and in Washington.

St. Croix County Job Fair:

Do you or someone you know need a new job or need to hire for a position?

I’m excited to announce details of this falls’s Job Fair in New Richmond.

When it comes to finding the right person for the right job, it may mean something as simple as getting an employer and job seeker in the same room for the opportunity to talk in-person about a position. This Job Fair is the perfect opportunity to do just that.

WHEN:

When: Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM

WHERE:

Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC) located at 1019 South Knowles Avenue, New Richmond, WI

Reforming The National Flood Insurance Program:

Last night, the House passed my bill, the 21st Century Flood Reform Act, which makes massive reforms to our broken National Flood Insurance Program. The bill will provide affordable coverage for current policyholders, will provide greater access to the private market for flood insurance, and will require FEMA to conduct an annual actual study of the program's fund in order to protect taxpayers.

I recently spoke on the House floor about the bill, click HERE or the image below to watch!

Until next week!

God bless,

Sean Duffy
